I’ve started a new job at Podnosh, a consultancy run by Nick Booth, which provides social media training and strategy advice to local government, public bodies, charities, housing associations, neighbourhood groups and active citizens.

This was a fun project to work on. Jon Bounds built the Christmas-o-meter, which rates Twitter users’ Christmas cheer based on their 20 latest tweets. It’s based on his sentiment analysis tool and rates words in tweets against a database of words with emotional value. Tweets mentioning Christmas score more. I helped Jon to produce the site by providing the visual design, HTML and CSS.
