Elite Partners Ltd

Site design & XHTML/CSS · July 2006

Elite Partners Ltd, an executive recruitment and interim management company, required a new clean and contemporary website to promote their services. Using the client's existing logo and letterhead graphics as a source, I designed this site for Elite Partners.

Elite Partners Ltd: "About" page design

Technology and design process

I used Photoshop CS to design static mockups of each site page in three alternative colour schemes and shared these with the client for review as PDFs.

I then hand-coded the website using XHTML and CSS. Two external JavaScript files control the site navigation and stylesheet swapping, enabling the user to view a large text version of the site without changing their browser settings.

Stylesheet swapping JavaScript written by Paul Sowden.

Menu buttons JavaScript adapted from Phil Sherry's Foundation Mac OS X Web Development published by friends of ED.

The Elite Partners logo and railway imagery were designed by www.deucedesign.com.au.
