Content management and web editing

I’ve managed content for UK websites since 2004 and can help inject new life into your site. I can work with text files, HTML pages, via web-based document collaboration tools or directly within your content management system (CMS) to speed up the process.

Information architecture

Can visitors find what they want on your site? Is valuable content lost amid old pages? Is the language on your site full of jargon?

Information architecture starts by researching how visitors really use your site. Based on the research, we then structure all the site pages so that your site is easy to understand and valuable content can be found. The key is to structure your site based on what your visitors want to do (and not to mirror your organisational structure).

At the same time, we rewrite the content using language tailored to your visitors, wiping out the jargon.

Bespoke website design

I design and build sites that are fresh, usable and straightforward to update by yourself using a content management system. I use WordPress as a CMS in many projects (including this site).

Email marketing

I design branded promotional email and newsletters with visual impact, supported by subscriber management and statistics (such as how many subscribers are reading your emails and clicking through to your site).

I can provide the tools for you to write and send email campaigns yourself or run campaigns on your behalf with the content you provide.
