Michael Warwick Nicholls are a recruitment consultancy specialising in blue-chip management consultancy and finance professionals. We worked together to streamline their email marketing activities by using an email management system (EMS).
I set up the EMS and designed a set of branded HTML emails for use within the system. Michael Warwick Nicholls can now write, send and monitor their own email marketing campaigns.
They can view real-time statistics through the EMS to monitor a campaign's performance. These statistics include how many times an email has been opened, how many people have clicked through to a website or landing page and how many people have unsubscribed.

Send campaigns from a dedicated domain separate to your company's domain. For example, use @news.yourcompany.com instead of @yourcompany.com.
Make it simple for recipients to unsubscribe from your mailing list.
Don't rely on images alone to communicate your key messages. Images can be blocked or turned off by default.
Test, test and test again! Creating a good email campaign takes time and effort so don't waste it with a last-minute rush. Proof-read the email several times and send plenty of test messages.
