Email marketing
How it works: Design email campaign · Send · Monitor campaign activity
I design emails with visual impact that are tailor-made to your marketing campaign or newsletter needs. With a supporting email management system (EMS) you can write, send and monitor your own email marketing campaigns. You don't need any special software; all work is done through a standard web browser. Learn how it works…
Design your email campaign
Login to your email management system and choose from your branded email templates. These can be short announcements through to full newsletters. I can create bespoke email designs or work with your existing branding.

Send out the email campaign
Send emails out to your contacts lists. You can send to all contacts or tailor emails to specific contact groups, enabling you to segment by business sector, field of interest or geographical location, for example.

Segmented contact lists are useful for tailoring campaigns to specific interest groups
Monitor email campaign activity
Measuring campaign effectiveness is crucial for anyone responsible for a marketing budget. Without good information on how many emails have been received, opened or what links have been clicked on, it is impossible to calculate return on investment or improve future campaigns.
Detailed reports are available in the system and updated in real time from the moment your campaign is sent:
- See how many recipients opened your email.
- See how many recipients unsubscribed from your mailing list.
- Understand which links in the email drives the most traffic to your website.
- Learn how many recipients forwarded your email to a friend.

Client section login
Clients can login to their own EMS to manage campaigns and view live reports on campaign performance.

Email marketing tips
Send campaigns from a dedicated domain separate to your company's domain. For example, use @news.yourcompany.com instead of @yourcompany.com.
Make it simple for recipients to unsubscribe from your mailing list.
Don't rely on images alone to communicate your key messages. Images can be blocked or turned off by default.
Test, test and test again! Creating a good email campaign takes time and effort so don't waste it with a last-minute rush. Proof-read the email several times and send plenty of test messages.
